Day 2, Mount Zion National Park

Ok, why do 2.4 million people want to go to an amazingly hot place during the hottest time of the year? Check this out!

Steve and I are rookie campers. We borrowed a tent or should we call it a test? We are learning new things about each other. Like what makes one short tempered, it could be having no shower, or the heat, or not bringing enough water, or cooking the wrong way, or where exactly IS the best place to attempt putting up that tent. Is a campsite with sun better or shade? Praise God, we've been laughing thru all these times of learning how to set up a camp.

Our first hike in Zion National Park was so amazing. It was called Hidden Valley Canon. It is labeled as strenuous. I think that is a big fat LIE! I think perhaps a more appropriate title might be death defying, maximum character building, not to be undertaken until more acclimated to the elevation
